Alexis Romero
Alexis is a higher education professional who brings a wealth of experience, creativity, passion, and energy to our organization. With more than five years of progressive experience at one of New Jersey’s largest private universities, Alexis has demonstrated the ability to think strategically and act decisively to meet and exceed goals at each level of increased responsibility. In a constantly changing and fiercely competitive arena, Alexis has become adept at creating proven multifaceted communication plans and content that have proven to be adaptable within this arena. She has honed high-level interpersonal skills in working with university leadership, department members, students, and external partners.
In addition to her high-level communication skills, Alexis is also bilingual as she can speak both Arabic and English. In addition, she is accomplished in social media management, staff development, team leadership, and event planning. Alexis is a positive leader who is not only dedicated to excellence but desirous of ensuring positive outcomes for our young women as they discover their places in the marketplace and world.
Eboni Woolridge
Eboni’s mission in life is to create opportunities for everyone to learn, grow and heal through the power of LOVE. Eboni is a graduate of St. John’s University where she majored in Legal
Studies and served in various executive leadership organizations. After completing her studies,
Eboni traveled the globe serving Syrian refugees and participating in ministry opportunities in
India. Recently, after relocating to Newark, NJ, Eboni serves on the Newark Board of Education and leads multiple women-focused ministry opportunities in the Essex County Area. Currently, Eboni is dedicating her time to women who are growing in their faith by providing love, support, and accountability on their journey.
Eboni interweaves her passion and compassion for others with a variety of skills developed
through her extensive work experiences as an operations specialist, as well as her present work as a senior administrative coordinator/manager for Newark School District.
Kiyanna Lovell
Kiyanna has a wide variety of education, skills, and work experience across different fields. She
graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Organizational Behavior from UC Berkeley in 2012.
Since then, she has completed a Master’s in Accounting from St. Mary’s College of California in
2015 and a Master’s in Sports Management from Columbia University in 2017. She is currently training in the Data Science and Business Analytics post-graduate program at the University of Texas, Austin. In addition to her education, Kiyanna has worked as a Finance Program Lead and Sales Support Manager for IKO Industries. At IKO Industries, she has analyzed contractor program retention and growth to support marketing initiatives and managed 600 customer pricing and incentive programs ensuring that all deals were within parameters and profitability.
As a Financial Analyst, she supports with reporting needs and modeling to evaluate deal economics, commercial terms and conditions, and operational requirements for opportunities.
Kiyanna enjoys finding solutions to problems that increase productivity, profitability, and
continuous improvement of sales processes and tools. Kiyanna hopes to apply the same kind of
techniques to help serve Yes, M.I.S.S. Inc.’s goal of creating opportunities for high school girls
and helping inspire them to create a better tomorrow.
Shalise Gorrell

Shalise brings several years of work experience working as a Mental Health Specialist in different environments such as the Shepherd House in Somerset, NJ, and Rutgers University Behavioral Health Care in Piscataway, NJ. In these roles, she has provided private and group
counseling and crisis intervention to patients. She also assisted patients in self-care skills and activities of daily living, which encouraged the patients to develop appropriate, independent, and positive behaviors.
In addition to her years of work experience working as a Mental Health
Specialist, Shalise is highly educated having graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology & Counseling from Pillar College in 2016. She is currently pursuing her Master’s degree in Clinical Psychology at Capella University.
Shalise hopes to apply her work experience in healthcare and education to accomplish Yes, M.I.S.S. Inc.’s mission of giving young women the opportunities they need to discover their full potential and help them become tomorrow’s leaders.
